DATES OF SWEEPSTAKES: Bassett “Second Chance” Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins at 12:00 am Eastern Time (“ET”) on July 8, 2019 and ends at 11:59 pm ET on August 18, 2019 (the “Sweepstakes Period”).

ELIGIBILITY: In order to be eligible for entry into the Sweepstakes, you must be a legal resident of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia and eighteen (18) years of age or older and reside within the delivery radius of a Bassett Home Furnishings store location throughout the Sweepstakes Period and awarding of the prize (the “Entrant”). Eligible delivery radius will be determined via the Entrant’s zip code on Sponsor’s website (www.bassettfurniture.com). Employees and their immediate family members (parents, children, siblings or spouse, regardless of where they live, or persons living in same household, whether related or not) of Sponsor, its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, contractors, distributors, sales representatives, retailers, advertising and promotion agencies, National Sweepstakes Company, LLC (“Independent Administrator”) and any others engaged in the development, production, execution or distribution of this Sweepstakes (herein “Sweepstakes Entities”) are not eligible to participate. HOW TO ENTER: Visit www.bassettfurniture.com/sweeps (the “Website”) during the Sweepstakes Period and complete the Sweepstakes entry form (the “Entry Form”) in its entirety including first name, last name, street address, city, state, zip code, email address, and phone number. You must also check the box to indicate you are eighteen (18) years of age or older and have read these Official Rules. Upon completion of the Entry Form in its entirety, click the “ENTER NOW” button to receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. There is a limit of one (1) entry per Entrant/email address per day. Entrant must enter each day to receive an entry each day.
Neither Sponsor nor any Sweepstakes Entity is responsible for any entry that is lost, late, misdirected or undeliverable, whether due to system errors, omissions, interruption, deletions, defects, delay in operations or transmissions, theft or destruction or failures, faulty transmissions or other telecommunications malfunctions, entries not received resulting from any hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, failed, incomplete or garbled computer or telephone transmissions, typographical or system errors and failures, faulty transmissions, technical malfunctions, or otherwise.
In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. The “Authorized Account Holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to the e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses, or the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Potential Prize Winner (defined below) may be required to show proof of being the Authorized Account Holder.
DRAWINGS: On or about August 20, 2019, one (1) prize winner (the “Prize Winner”) will be randomly selected from among all eligible entries receiving during the Sweepstakes. Odds of winning depend upon the total number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. The random drawing and determination of the Prize Winner will be conducted by the Independent Administrator whose decisions are based upon their sole discretion and these Official Rules, and are final and binding in all respects.
PRIZE: One (1) prize of a $10,000 store credit to a Bassett Home Furnishings store will be awarded to the Prize Winner (the “Prize”). Prize Winner must redeem his/her Bassett Home Furnishings store credit at a Bassett Home Furnishings store by November 3, 2019. Total ARV of the Prize to be awarded is $10,000. The total value will need to be used towards delivery fees, taxes and the cost of the furniture.
In the event the Prize Winner fails to redeem his/her Bassett Home Furnishings store credit in store by the date provided, the Prize will be forfeited by Prize Winner and Sponsor nor any other Sweepstakes Entity shall have any obligation to such individual. In the event that the Prize Winner fails to redeem his/her Bassett Home Furnishings store credit, the Prize will not be awarded.
PRIZE RESTRICTIONS: Prize Winner must live within the eligible delivery radius of a Bassett Home Furnishings store location in order for Prize to be awarded. In the event the Prize Winner does NOT live within the delivery radius of a Bassett Furniture location, Prize will be forfeited and no compensation will be provided to the Prize Winner. Prize Winner is required to comply with any and all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations. Any taxes imposed on the income of the Prize Winner as a result of winning the Prize and all other expenses not specifically mentioned herein as part of the Prize are solely the responsibility of the Prize Winner. No transfer or substitution of Prize is allowed except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. There is no cash alternative offered, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. The value of the Prize is taxable as income and Prize Winner is solely responsible for all matters relating to the Prize, including, but not limited to all applicable federal, state and local taxes that become due with respect to the Prize. No more than the one (1) Prize will be awarded.
PRIZE NOTIFICATION/CLAIMS: Potential Prize Winner will be notified via e-mail within forty-eight (48) hours of the drawing date (the “Email Notification”). Except where prohibited, potential Prize Winner will be required to sign and return to Sweepstakes Administrator, within the date and/or time indicated in the Email Notification, an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability and Public Release Form and W-9 form (the “Paperwork”) in order to claim the Prize. If potential Prize Winner fails to return the Paperwork within that time, or if potential Prize Winner is found to be ineligible, or if he/she does not comply with the Official Rules, then the potential Prize Winner will be disqualified and an alternate Prize Winner will be selected through a random drawing by the Independent Administrator from the remaining non-winning eligible entries received for the Sweepstakes. If the Prize or Email Notification is returned as undeliverable, this will result in disqualification and an alternate Prize Winner will be selected. Except where prohibited by law, the Prize Winner’s entry and acceptance of the Prize constitutes permission for the Sweepstakes Entities to use said Prize Winner’s name, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical information and voice on a worldwide basis, and in all forms of media, in perpetuity, without further compensation.
GENERAL RULES OF PARTICIPATION: This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. By participating, Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and the Sweepstakes Entities and waive any right to challenge the decision of the Independent Administrator regarding any claim of ambiguity in the Sweepstakes or these Official Rules, whose decision shall be binding. Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, undeliverable or incomplete entries, whether due to system errors or failures, faulty transmissions or other telecommunications malfunctions, entries not received resulting from any hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, failed, incomplete or garbled computer or telephone transmissions, typographical or system errors and failures, faulty transmissions, technical malfunctions, or otherwise. Sponsor may prohibit an Entrant from participating in the Sweepstakes or winning the Prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines that said Entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes by cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair playing practices (including the use of automated quick entry programs) or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other Entrants, Sponsor, or Sweepstakes Entities. If for any reason this Sweepstakes is not able to be conducted as planned, including, but not limited to, by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, then Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes and randomly draw from those entries received up to the cancellation/suspension date. LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEY’S FEES) FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.
NO LIABILITY: By participating, Entrants agree to release, discharge, indemnify, and hold harmless the Sweepstakes Entities and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents from and against any claims made by a Prize Winner, Entrants, or any other third parties, related in any way to the operation of this Sweepstakes as well as any other claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize or participation in any Sweepstakes-related activity or participation in this Sweepstakes.

INDEPENDENT ADMINISTRATOR: This Sweepstakes is being administered by National Sweepstakes Company, LLC, 80 Rockwood Place, Ste. 104, Rochester, NY 14610, which is responsible for overseeing the selection of Prize Winner. Its decisions are final and binding regarding the conduct of this Sweepstakes.
