SWEEPSTAKES ENTRY PERIOD: The Add a Little Sizzle to Your Grill Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins at 12:00:01 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) on Thursday, June 20, 2019 and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET on Thursday, August 8, 2019 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Administrator’s clock is the official timekeeping device for the Sweepstakes.
ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 48 contiguous United States, D.C. and Canada, who are age 18 or older at the time of entry. Void in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and wherever else prohibited by law. Employees of The Little Potato Company (the “Sponsor”), US Sweepstakes & Fulfillment Company (the “Sweepstakes Administrator”) and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate family members (spouses, parents, children, and siblings and their spouses) of, and/or those living in the same household of each, are not eligible to enter. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
HOW TO ENTER: Online Entry. During the Sweepstakes Period, visit www.addalittlesizzle.com and follow all entry instructions to complete the entry form and submit to receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes (the “Online Entry”). Online Entries must be received during the Sweepstakes Period. Online entrants are subject to all notices posted online including but not limited to the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, which can be found at https://www.littlepotatoes.com/en/terms-and-privacy/. Entrants who are legal U.S. residents will be entered into the drawing for the Grand Prize – U.S. resident; entrants who are legal Canadian residents will be entered into the drawing for the Grand Prize – Canadian resident.
Limit: One (1) Online Entry per person per day regardless of whether entrant has more than one email address. Online Entries received from any person in excess of the stated limitation will be void. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same email for the purposes of entering or participating in this Sweepstakes. Any attempt by an entrant to obtain more than the stated number of Online Entries by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods, will void that entrant’s Online Entries and that entrant may be disqualified from participating in the Sweepstakes by Sponsor in Sponsor’s sole discretion. All Online Entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Personal data relating to entrants will be retained by Sponsor for a reasonable period after the Sweepstakes closes to allow Sponsor to operate the Sweepstakes and other promotional activities in a consistent manner and to deal with any queries on the Sweepstakes. If you are selected as the prize winner, your information may also be included in a publicly-available winners’ list. Sponsor shall be obligated to verify the receipt of any Online Entries.
PRIZES/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (“ARV”)/ODDS:
Grand Prize – U.S. resident: There is one (1) Grand Prize available to be won for all U.S. resident entries. Grand Prize is one (1) $5,000 check that will be awarded in the name of the confirmed winner.
The Grand Prize U.S. resident ARV is: $5,000 USD.
Grand Prize – Canadian resident: There is one (1) Grand Prize available to be won for all Canadian resident entries. Grand Prize is one (1) $5,000 check that will be awarded in the name of the confirmed winner.
The Grand Prize Canadian resident ARV is: $5,000 CAN.
The total ARV of all prizes available to be won by U.S. residents: $5,000 USD. The total ARV of all prizes available to be won by Canadian residents: $5,000 CAN.
Odds of winning will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received for each prize.
RANDOM DRAWING: The potential Grand Prize winners will be selected in a random drawing at 2:00 PM ET on Monday, August 12, 2019 from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. The random drawing will be conducted by the Sweepstakes Administrator in Rochester, New York.
WINNER NOTIFICATION & VERIFICATION: The potential Grand Prize winners will be confirmed via email and/or phone, and will be required to sign and return, within five (5) days of notification, an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Waiver, a W-9 Form and where allowable, a Publicity Release, for the U.S. winner and a Declaration and Release for the Canadian winner (collectively, “the Releases”). The Releases will require the winner to furnish his/her Social Security Number for the sole purpose of tax reporting, as required by law for the U.S. winner. Noncompliance will result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected. The prize package will be awarded within approximately 45 days after the winner is verified.
Canadian winner will be required to correctly answer a skill-based mathematical test question without mechanical or other aid (which may, in the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsor, be administered online, by email or other electronic means, by telephone, or in the Sponsor’s form of Declaration and Release) within a limited time-period in order to be eligible to receive his or her prize. Not providing the answer within the required time period, providing an incorrect or incomplete answer, or noncompliance with the terms of administration of the skill-testing question will result in disqualification of the potential winner and an alternate winner may be selected. Without limiting the generality of the forgoing, the Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to administer an alternate test of skill as it deems appropriate based on the circumstances and/or to comply with applicable law.
If a winner is otherwise eligible under these Official Rules, but is nevertheless deemed a minor in his or her state of primary residence, the prize will be awarded in the name of winner’s parent or legal guardian who will be required to execute, sign, and return the Releases on minor’s behalf. Noncompliance will result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected. If Releases are returned as undeliverable or if the selected winner cannot accept or receive the prize for any reason, or he/she is not in compliance with these Official Rules, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected in a separate random drawing.
PRIZE CONDITIONS: If a prize notification or prize is returned as undeliverable, or if the potential Grand Prize winner is found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these rules that winner will be disqualified, and the prize may be awarded to an alternate winner in a separate random drawing. Only four (4) alternate winners may be determined through this process, after which the prize may remain un-awarded.
Prize is not assignable nor transferable. No substitution is permitted except if prize is unavailable, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. No cash in lieu of prize and no exchange or substitution of prize will be made, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Any other incidental expenses on prize not specified herein are the winner’s sole responsibility.
Winners are responsible for all federal, state, provincial, local and income taxes associated with winning prize. Except where prohibited by law, entry and acceptance of prize constitute permission to use winner’s name, prize won, hometown, likeness, video tape, photographs, and statements for purposes of advertising, promotion and publicity (including online posting) in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification or permission.
GENERAL: Although subsequent attempts to enter on a given day may be received, only the first complete Online Entry received from a particular entrant will be eligible; subsequent attempts by the same person to enter, including entries submitted with an alternate email address, will be disqualified.
All participating entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and the Sweepstakes Administrator. By entering the Sweepstakes, entrant agrees that he/she hereby releases the Sponsor, the Sweepstakes Administrator, and their affiliated companies, and all other businesses involved in this Sweepstakes, as well as the employees, officers, directors and agents of each of the foregoing (the “Released Parties”), from all claims and liability relating to: (i) his/her entry into and participation in the Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes-related activity; and (ii) his/her acceptance and use/misuse of the prize offered. Furthermore, by entering the Sweepstakes, entrant also agrees that he/she assumes all liability for any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused, by his/her participation in this Sweepstakes or use/misuse or redemption of the prize. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Sweepstakes or in the announcement of the prize.
In the event of a dispute over the identity of an entrant, the Online Entry will be deemed submitted by the Authorized Account Holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. “Authorized Account Holder” means the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Sponsor may ask any entrant or potential winner to provide Sponsor with proof, to Sponsor’s satisfaction, that such party is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the Online Entry. Online Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered, or mass Online Entries or Online Entries generated by a script, macro or use of automated devices are void. The Released Parties are not responsible for: (i) lost, late, misdirected, damaged or illegible Online Entries; or (ii) error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site or any combination thereof; or (iii) any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in the Sweepstakes. By participating in the Sweepstakes, you (i) agree to be bound by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements, and (ii) agree to be bound by the decisions of Sponsor and the Sweepstakes Administrator, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification from the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to: (i) permanently disqualify from any sweepstakes it sponsors any person it believes has intentionally violated these Official Rules; and (ii) withdraw a method of entry if it becomes technically corrupted (including if a computer virus or system malfunction inalterably impairs its ability to conduct the Sweepstakes). DISPUTES: Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in the state of Wisconsin. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, entrant’s rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the state of Wisconsin without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Wisconsin or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the state of Wisconsin.
TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL THE RELEASED PARTIES BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF ENTRANT’S PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES OR ANY ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE SWEEPSTAKES WEBSITE OR DOWNLOADING FROM AND/OR PRINTING MATERIAL DOWNLOADED FROM SAID WEBSITE.
ALL MATERIALS AND INFORMATION PROVIDED BY SPONSOR AND EVERYTHING ON THE SWEEPSTAKES WEBSITE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. FURTHER, SPONSOR MAKES NO REPRESENTATION THAT THE MATERIALS RELATING TO THE SWEEPSTAKES ARE APPROPRIATE OR AVAILABLE FOR USE AT ALL LOCATIONS AT ALL TIMES. IT IS THE ENTRANT’S SOLE RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THAT ACCESSING SPONSOR’S WEBSITE AND ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES IS LEGAL AND NOT PROHIBITED BY THE LAWS OF THE JURISDICTION IN WHICH HE/SHE IS A CITIZEN.

For Quebec residents: Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of this Contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Quebec for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the board only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
